Molten Mountain

MoltenMountain

The swirl of white-hot light behind the mountain, surrounded by the fury of red and yellow with purple blazes reaching out under the dark clouds made this sunset across Lake Wanaka appear as if the mountain were erupting!

Back To Our Beloved Mainland

We have now shifted out of Wellington and are living in the Queenstown District of the South Island.  On the way South we drove past our highest mountain, Mt Cook, and viewed it across Lake Pukaki right on sunset.  That’s it in the banner photo above.

There will be more news and photos of our time in the Mainland soon to follow.
